Dr. Dwight Olson is a 2nd generation veterinarian. His father, Dr. Harvey Olson started the practice in 1959 and retired in the early nineties. Dr. Dwight grew up around veterinary medicine all his life and helped his dad “work” from the 4th grade on. He grew up in Enid and went on to Oral Roberts University and earned a degree in Biology.  He then applied to Oklahoma State University’s Veterinary School and graduated in 1980.  After doing internships in Norman and Tulsa, Dwight decided to “come home” and work with his dad.

He holds memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association, and Northwest Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association. He served 10 years on the Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and has served in all capacities of leadership.

Erika Cumbie has been a veterinary technician at Olson Animal Hospital since the fall of 2010.  She grew up in Byron, OK and graduated from Burlington High School.  She attended college at Pratt Community College in Pratt, KS, graduating with a bachelor of science degree.  She then attended Murray State College in Tishomingo, OK where she received her Technician degree.  Erika has one faithful dog named Louie who is a retriever/basset hound mix.  She likes to spend her spare time attending to her flock of Kinder goats.

Donna Johnson is the receptionist at Olson Animal Hospital.  She is originally from Monterey, California.  She and her husband Robert have 2 amazing children, Michael and Shelby, and one beautiful granddaughter, Demi.  She also has four dogs of her own and one cat that thinks she is a dog.  Donna has only been with Olson Animal Hospital for a few short months but feels so blessed to have found a job that combines her love for animals and people.  She says that it is an “exciting job that brings something new every day!”
